Position: Senior level – Biochemist / Molecular Biologist

Location: Navi-Mumbai.

Reports To: Operational Head.

Job Summary: The Biochemist / Molecular Biologist will be responsible for conducting advanced biochemical and molecular biology research to support drug discovery, development, and characterization. The role involves designing experiments, analyzing biomolecular interactions, and contributing to the understanding of disease mechanisms and therapeutic targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, plan, and perform molecular biology and biochemical experiments (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, cloning, protein expression, etc.).

Conduct protein purification, enzyme assays, and kinetic studies to characterize biological targets.

Perform cell culture, transfection, and gene expression analysis using qPCR and Western blotting.

Analyze biomolecular interactions using ELISA, SPR, or electrophoresis techniques.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in drug discovery, formulation, and bioassay development.

Maintain accurate laboratory records, protocols, and experimental data.

Ensure compliance with GLP, biosafety, and ethical research standards.

Prepare technical reports, presentations, and research documentation for internal and regulatory purposes.
