Position: Drug Discovery Scientist

Location: Navi-Mumbai.

Reports To: Research & Development (Drug Discovery)

The Drug Discovery Scientist will play a key role in identifying and developing novel drug candidates through innovative research. The role involves designing experiments, analyzing biological or chemical data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance compounds from concept to preclinical development.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute experiments to identify and optimize lead compounds for various therapeutic areas.

Perform target validation, hit identification, and structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies.

Conduct in vitro and in vivo assays to assess compound potency, selectivity, and pharmacokinetics.

Collaborate with computational chemists, medicinal chemists, and biologists to drive drug discovery projects.

Analyze and interpret experimental data using statistical and cheminformatics tools.

Prepare technical reports, research documentation, and presentations for internal and external review.

Ensure all research activities comply with GLP, safety, and ethical standards.

Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and publications in drug discovery.
