Position: Senior level – Research Scientist (Formulation / Analytical / Synthetic Chemistry)

Location: Navi-Mumbai.

Reports To: Operational Head.

Job Summary: The Research Scientist will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing pharmaceutical formulations or analytical/synthetic methods. The role involves planning and executing experiments, analyzing results, and ensuring regulatory compliance while contributing to the development of new drug products or processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize formulation strategies for solid or liquid dosage forms (tablets, capsules, injectables, etc.).

Conduct analytical method development, validation, and troubleshooting for drug substances and products.

Design and execute synthetic chemistry experiments to prepare and characterize active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including lab notebooks, reports, and validation protocols.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, QC, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing.

Ensure adherence to GLP, GMP, and safety protocols.

Participate in stability studies, impurity profiling, and material characterization.

Stay updated with the latest scientific and regulatory trends in pharmaceutical R&D.
